Promasidor Ghana leads waste segregation agenda

 


At a time where COVID-19 has revealed sanitation deficiency in Ghana hence propelling institutions to take up waste segregation to stop the spread, one of Ghana’s food manufacturing industry giants; Promasidor Ghana Limited is setting the pace at its premises.

Opposite the security checkpoint at the head office in Accra are different litter bins marked out for general waste, paper and plastic waste materials. This is to ensure waste is sorted with the implementation of the waste hierarchy; reduce, reuse and recycle.

As the world finds its feet during the global pandemic, segregation of waste by the company is a way to help curb the spread as infectious items are not mixed up with other waste materials.
